Financial Aid

At St. Laurence, we are proud to offer several different options for tuition management. See some of the financial aid and scholarship opportunities available to students below.

President’s Scholarship incoming freshman none-selected by President must be O’Toole and Leader/Scholar and have parent or guardian who is a police officer, firefighter or member of the military
O’Toole Scholarship incoming freshman HSPT Exam top testers on the HSPT (Entrance Exam)
Viking Award incoming freshman DEADLINE PASSED academic achievement, community and Christian service and participation in clubs and activities
Leader/Scholar incoming freshman application and personal interview – DEADLINE PASSED self-nominated and have outstanding leadership qualities, a min 3.5 GPA in 7th grade, be involved in at least 2 extra curricular activity and have an exemplary disciplinary record at current school

Graduate of a Catholic Grammar School given preference
Involved in a non-academic organization during grammar school, e.g. Boy Scouts, Athletic Team, Altar Server, Student Council,
Volunteer in community service
Solid student with no discipline issues – finalist will need to provide copy of 1st semester 8th grade report card
Thomas Ondrla Service Scholarship incoming freshman Apply here! Good academic and disciplinary standing with a GPA of 2.5 or above
Involved in at least two service activities
Participate in one extra-curricular activity/school activity
John and Paula Kelly Family Scholarship incoming freshman (preferably from St. Daniel the Prophet) Apply here! St. Daniel the Prophet student preferred
Demonstrates financial need

Preference for students actively involved in St. Laurence and their local and church communities.
Peg Kaufman Memorial Scholarship incoming freshman (preferably from St. Albert the Great or child of an educator)  Apply here! Demonstrate financial need
Preference given to St. Albert student, son or daughter of an educator at a Catholic or public school
GPA of 2.5 or higher

Graduating from a Catholic Grammar School

Cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.0 or above
Involved in at least one extra-curricular activity (Student athlete or participation in other school-related club or organization)
Demonstrated financial need and a strong desire to continue their education as St. Laurence High School

Miller Resource Group Robotics Scholarship Junior during 2019-20 School Year Apply here! A junior during the 2019-20 academic year and in good academic and disciplinary standing
Enrolled in both Introduction to Robotics and Introduction to Engineering
Aspire to continue their academic pursuits upon in the field of Robotics or engineering
Involved in school or community related activities

Gaelic Park Scholarship Senior during the 2019-20 academic year Finalists determined by the school’s financial aid committee and based on the criteria approved by Chicago Gaelic Park Senior during the 2019-20 academic year and in good academic and disciplinary standing
Demonstrated financial need or hardship
Aspirations to continue their academic pursuits upon graduation
Involved in school or community related activities
Preference given to students of Irish American heritage
Angelo “Mickey” Rojas Scholarship Freshmen in 2019-20 school year Finalists determined by the school’s financial aid committee Involved in at least one extra-curricular activity at St. Laurence while maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or
above and also have no disciplinary issues
Preference given to applicants of Hispanic or Latino backgrounds
Optional parent approved part time summer employment at Continental Sales “Lots 4 Less”
