Golf

The goal of the St. Laurence golf program is to improve the golfskills and knowledge of each participant. The main emphasis within the program is that each young man takes away the important
lessons of good sportsmanship and proper etiquette that will serve him well in future years. While working to accomplish these objectives, the Vikings are also extremely competitive in both the
Chicago Catholic League and IHSA contests. The team advanced to the IHSA Sectionals in 2012 and has sent at least one golfer to the State Finals every year since 2011.

HEAD COACH

Joe Sinisi, a 1996 graduate of St. Laurence, has been the head golf coach since 2013. He has a lifelong appreciation for the game of golf, and enjoys instructing and helping young people achieve their highest potential on the course and in all areas of life. Coach Sinisi is an avid golfer who has gained a wealth of knowledge from years of being around the game. He uses this knowledge to develop the games of golfers of all skill levels. In addition to coaching golf, Coach Sinisi also works as a Chicago firefighter.
