The IHSA has finally received approval on their Phase 4 Return to Play guidelines. Therefore, we are allowed to begin summer contact days which include sport specific activities. Each program is allowed 20 contact days, and the traditional “dead week” before fall sports has been eliminated. So, contact days are able to begin tomorrow (July 7th) and they can run through August 8th. For returning Vikings, coaches will communicate their summer plans directly to you.  For incoming freshmen, click here to see the list of camps. All registrations will be done online at https://stlaurence.8to18.com/.

While we are excited to move to the next stage and resume sport specific activities, there are still many precautions we will take. St. Laurence has developed policies and procedures based on the Restore Illinois Phase 4 and the IHSA Phase 4 Return to Play guidelines. These policies and procedures have been approved by the administration as well as the Board of Directors. All coaches, students, and parents are expected to follow the policies and procedures, which can be viewed by clicking hereClick here to see the full IHSA Phase 4 Return to Play guidelines.

We appreciate all of our student-athletes adherence to the policies and procedures for the Stage 1 workouts and ask for your continued adherence as we take the next step in return to athletics. If you have any general questions, please contact me at tchandler@stlaurence.com or call the athletic office at 708-458-6900 x256. If you have registration questions, please contact Nik Siple at nsiple@stlaurence.com. If you have sport specific questions, please contact that sport’s head coach.
