The St. Laurence High School boys soccer team wrapped up 2017 Chicago Catholic League play with championships at the Varsity, Sophomore and Freshmen levels.

The Vikings rose above this season’s tough schedule to win their second consecutive CCL championship and third in four years. In addition to beating their Green Division opponents by a combined score of 13-1, the Vikings beat the likes of Fenwick, St. Ignatius and Loyola from the Blue Division to help them earn the title.

The sophomore and freshmen levels also proved that the future is as bright as the present, as they provided the program sweep for the first time in recent memory.

The varsity team’s performance this year earned them the #2 seed in their Sectional. You can catch the Vikings in action at their Regional opener on Wednesday, October 18 at 4 pm at St. Laurence.
