St. Laurence High School senior Daniel Hecker participated in the annual Veterans Day Ceremony held at the Veterans Memorial in Burbank on Monday, November 12.  Hecker led the gathered officials and attendees in the saying of the Pledge of Allegiance as part of the touching ceremony.

Hecker is an active member of the student body.  He is a member of the varsity soccer team, a peer minister, a computer lab assistant, a Leader-Scholar, a student council representative, a Forum member, a member of the Math Team, and he serves as the Treasurer of the National Honor Society.  He is a graduate of St. Albert the Great School in Chicago, and is a resident of Burbank.
