Maintenance Position Open
We are looking for a motivated, responsible adult to assist with maintenance and janitorial duties during the evenings and on weekends. If you’re interested please contact Mrs. Lapinski at alapinski@stlaurence.com.

Senior Pictures
The makeup day for senior pictures will be on Monday, November 18th in the LRC. Girls must have modest dress with their shoulders covered and boys must have suit and tie. Students not wearing the appropriate dress will not be photographed. All students needing to take their yearbook photo should have signed up for a time slot outside Ms. Walsh’s classroom in B109.

Confirmation Classes
Classes for the sacrament of Confirmation will begin today (Thursday, November 14th) immediately following school. There is only one class scheduled for November due to the holiday break, but we will be meeting every other week thereafter until March, 2020. Several parents have inquired about classes for the reception of First Holy Communion for students who wanted to receive the sacrament of Confirmation. If your son/daughter needs to make their Confirmation, but has not as yet received their First Holy Communion, you can contact the Campus Minister at esajdak@stlaurence.com to see if it is possible to attend classes for both here at St. Laurence.

Thanksgiving Food Drive
Student Council is collecting non-perishable food items for the annual Thanksgiving Food Drive. If the student body collects 2,000 items by November 22, students will earn a “Spirit and Sweats” day on November 25. Donations can be dropped off at the collection table in the foyer.

Fun Fact: Crisis Planning Team
Our Crisis Planning Team is in place to ensure the safety of your child! This team, comprised of individuals in various positions throughout the school, meets monthly to discuss ways to continuously improve our school’s policies and provide your child the safest academic environment possible.

Transcript Requests
Seniors who want to have transcripts sent by December 1, which is an early action deadline for some schools (not all), must have their transcript requests or college related requests placed through Naviance no later than Wednesday, November 20th. A transcript request form needs to be on file for a transcript to be sent. NO TRANSCRIPTS OR COLLEGE RELATED REQUESTS WILL BE PROCESSED OVER THE THANKSGIVING BREAK.

ACT Scores for Seniors
Please note that seniors must request their ACT scores be sent to the colleges that need them by going to actstudent.org as they are not part of the senior transcripts.
